The NYC is running a Pre–entry assessment course from Monday 19th to Thursday 22nd August.
Prior to applying for the course can you please ensure that you meet the following criteria:
- Minimum age 16 years of age to attend a course.
- National powerboat certificate (NPC) endorsed for tiller and console.
- 20 hours of powerboat experience logged after completing National Powerboat Cert.
- Current first aid certificate (8 hours minimum course duration covering CPR and hypothermia.
- ISA Garda vetting
The cost of the course to include the days training is 150 Euros please use the form below to register Places are limited to 8 on a first come first served basis.
The exam has 2 separate parts – a theory/shore based paper and an on the water practical exam.
