Following the successful formula of our autumn 2018
program, the RSGYC and NYC will again be collaborating to provide coaching for
youth laser sailors in Dun Laoghaire.
VENUE: Sailors
will launch from either the NYC or the RSGYC.
Briefing will be in the RSGYC
CLASSES: both 4.7
and radial Lasers.
LEVEL: coaching is
intended for sailors who are experienced at racing and intend competing in the
regional events. In particular, focus
will be on getting sailors ready to compete in the Trials at Royal Cork Yacht
Club in April.
COACHES: Goal is
to maintain a coach to sailor ratio of 6:1. We expect around 20 sailors to sign
up

09:30 – Briefing
10:00 – change
10:15 – launch
12:30 – return to shore for debrief and lunch
For February and March; coaching will take place in the
morning to accommodate the Sunday afternoon DMYC Frostbite series.
April coaching will full days.
