The Department of Transport has amended Marine Notice No. 32 of 2019 “Personal Flotation Devices for Pleasure Craft and Personal Watercraft”, in time for the new sailing season.
Now is the time to look at the requirements and regulations for the safe use of PFDs on our boats. It advises on buying a new PFD and on inspecting and servicing your existing one.
