The National Yacht Club is organising a ‘National Powerboat Certificate’ course open to all over 16s.

The course is held over 3 evenings:

> May 26th  5.30pm - 10.30pm

> May 27th 5.30pm - 10.30pm

> May 30th 5.30pm - 10.30pm

NYC Members Special Pricing: €190.00 (plus payment processing fees)

Maximum 9 participants on a first come first served basis
(Please be aware that we need to have a ratio of 1 instructor for 3 candidates and that the pricing is only covering costs so we need groups of 3,6, or 9 candidates)

he NYC is staging Laser coaching for adults of all ability (from new or returning to Laser sailing to experienced sailors) on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 13:00 for 5 weeks:

Dates: starting Saturday 30th April for the following dates 7th 14th 21st May & 11th June

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO TRAINING ON MAY 28th AS WE ARE HOSTING THE LASER MASTERS

€100 for the 5 weeks.  The course is limited to 12 participants on a 1st come 1st served basis. The coach is James Delaney

Wednesday and Thursday 20th & 21st April from 6pm until 9.30 AND Saturday 23rd April 9.30-4pm

Due to popular demand, we are organising 2 VHF Courses at a special discounted rate to our members with Irish Offshore Sailing.

The details are as follows:

Course 1:

2-night VHF course on 12/13th April 1800-2130hrs with exam on evening of 13th at 20.30.

Course 2:

on April 23rd 0930-1800hrs

Course Provider: Ronan O Siochru/ Irish Offshore Sailing. Max: 12 participants per course

Costs:

Costs: €200 for NYC members

Ronan will be running a RYA VHF course for €200 which includes exam fee. Should anyone require MMSI sign off, Ronan will sort this out free of charge. For all other purposes, the RYA cert is valid.
