Our autumn sailing programme gets underway on Saturday, 19 September, running every Saturday, and we are looking for enthusiastic and reliable coaches to join the team.
We are seeking Lead Coaches for both Adult Sailing (Aeros & ILCA/Laser), running from 9.30am–12.30pm, and Junior Dinghies (29er, ILCA & Toppers), running from 1.00pm–5.00pm. Lead Coaches must be able to commit to more than 50% of the scheduled sessions.
Junior sailors will be divided into three groups, with coaches focusing on their preferred class where possible, while also being prepared to move between groups as required. Where numbers are low, groups may be combined and sessions adapted to focus on general boat handling skills.
We are also looking for keen and dependable coaches who can step in when available to support the programme. Preference will be given to coaches with relevant skills and experience who submit their availability and preferences promptly.
As part of the programme, the coaching team will also have the opportunity to take part in 2–3 free coach development days, arranged on mutually suitable dates.
