The National Yacht Club has thirteen annual awards for outstanding sailing achievements by members of the Club.  These awards are presented to the winners at our annual Sailing Awards Dinner on Saturday 9th February.   This promises to be one of the highlights of the year so please book early to avoid disappointment.  Congratulations to all the winners.

COMMODORE RAISES CHRISTMAS TOAST TO SALUTE SHANAHAN FAMILY ARC SUCCESS.

This year’s National Yacht Club Christmas dinners were an outstanding success – with over 200 members generously supporting the Vice Commodore and Commodore’s dinner and raising funds (over €2,000) for the Blackrock Hospice.

The Annual Dun Laoire Flying Fifteen Dinner was recently held in the National Yacht Club. We had a large turn out after a very successful DBSC and Frostbite Series.

We had a beautiful meal laid on by Tim and Louise and all the staff and also a great raffle in aid of "Elivre St John of God's", Shankill, who provide independent living with Special Needs, as the designated Charity, by out- going Class Captain, Mike Quinn.

After some really great prizes were won all round the room and great fun was had by all, a cheque for €1,180 was presented to our visiting guests from "Elivre St John of God's".

WONDERFUL SPEAKERS SUPPER HEARS TALES OF TOM DOLAN’S FIGARO SOLO RACE

NYC members and guests were spellbound listening to Solo sailor Tom Dolan give a blow by blow account of his recent Figaro single handed race experience.
