This weekend saw superb racing in Cork with the National Yacht Club well represented by Hugh O’Connor, Natasha Hemeryck, Caoimhe Byrne and Caoimhe Seymour. Conditions were tough with strong tides and shifty winds. Hugh O’Connor finished the first day in the lead and managed to stave off stiff competition on day two winning the overall championship outright.
Caoimhe Seymour battled it out for 4th Place in the 4.2 Rig and Natasha Hemeryck and Caoimhe Byrne gained respectable places in the top half of the fleet. Congratulations to all our sailors.
