The National Yacht Club is incredibly proud to be part of this prestigious World Championship, welcoming some of the very best female ILCA 6 sailors from around the world to Dun Laoghaire.
Over the coming days, the fleet will battle it out across the challenging waters of Dublin Bay, with World Champions, Olympic medallists and rising stars all competing for the coveted ILCA 6 Women’s World Championship title.
And, of course, we’ll have a very special sailor to cheer on.
Our very own Annalise Murphy returns to the ILCA 6 fleet to compete on home waters. An Olympic silver medallist and one of Ireland’s most celebrated sailors, Annalise began her sailing journey here at the National Yacht Club. We couldn’t be prouder to see her competing at this level on Dublin Bay and the whole club is firmly behind her. Go Annalise!
