Table Quiz update – Round 7

Table Quiz update – Round 7

Round 7 of the Table Quiz series was held on Wednesday, 8th February, and produced a close and exciting finish, with T.B.M. prevailing for their second victory of the series. The bigger story of the night (pace T.B.M.) was the continuing saga of team Wizard occupying 2nd place again – the fourth consecutive second-place finish for the serious sorcerers! This run of near misses is enchanting us all. When will the spell end?  Perhaps a series of questions on all things wizardry might add a bit of magic?

Table Quiz update – Round 6

Table Quiz update – Round 6

Round 6 took place on Wednesday, 25th January with the welcome addition of a new team of fresh-faced quizzers in Saturday Night Feva. Their first performance, under the stewardsip of Cillian Madigan, was remarkable considering that they were asked questions about TV comedies that appeared over 30 years before any of the team were born. We look forward next time to questions on influencers, Tik-Tok memes, and Minecraft.

At the other end of the leaderboard, Wizard only made their headache worse by hitting the bar again – that’s three seconds in a row. The beneficiaries were the Corner Boys who recovered their mojo to get competitive again, with Harmerang and T.B.M. making up the places.

Next quiz will be on the 8th February at 8pm sharp! See you all there.
