Cruising Group – Toolbox Talk – Lets Talk Engines With Ian!
Our Cruising Group is delighted to invite you to our next Toolbox Talk on Wednesday, 19th February, at 7:30 PM in the J.B. Room.
This session will feature Ian Meldon, who has generously offered to host a Q&A on marine enginesâspecifically, how to identify wear and potential issues before they lead to failure at sea.
Given the broad scope of this topic, weâd like to gather questions in advance to ensure a structured and insightful discussion.

Tom Dolan Interviews
National Yacht Clubs Tom Dolan, the first Irish sailor to win the Solitaire du Figaro in 2024, shared his experiences in two insightful interviews.
In the "Charting the Stars" series by Irish Sailing, Dolan discussed his journey into offshore sailing, his mental and physical preparation, and his future aspirations.

Additionally, he appeared on "The Yacht Racing Podcast," hosted by British sailing journalist Justin Chisholm, where he delved deeper into his sailing adventures.
AIB DBSC SPRING CHICKEN SERIES 2025 – NOR & Entry Form
A series of SIX races to be held on Sunday mornings organised by Dublin Bay Sailing Club. A progressive handicap on a time-on-time basis will be used. For keelboats, cruisers, cruising boats, one-designs and boats that do not normally race are very welcome.

NYC Single-Hander Coaching (ILCA / RS Aero) Spring Coaching 2025
The NYC has scheduled 8 sessions on Saturdays, in the morning, as a lead up to the liftin and the start of the summer season. In order to accommodate the Aeros who have some racing during the period and busy schedules, there are 3 offers to choose from.
Full programme fee: âŹ240
5 sessions fee ( takes into consideration Aero Super series and Easterns): âŹ175
per session fee: âŹ40
