Programme details:
Lead coach: Conor Gorman. The lead coach will be assisted by qualified instructors as numbers dictate. The head coach will lead the final clinic.
Start date: Sept 23rd – End Date: Dec 10th
The Autumn programme is dedicated to grow Racing skills in the club Optimist sailors. Regular club training will be conducted on Saturdays with a rigged and ready start time of 13.00 (finish around 17.00). A clinics with a full day approach will also be delivered to conclude the programme. Sailors are also encouraged to take part in the IODAI National Training week with several of our coaches in attendance.
Please note that to facilitate the annual lift out, Boats must be removed from the platform at the latest on October 6th and will be allowed to return for the October 21st training session.
1. Club training: 8 sessions scheduled: Sept 23, Sept 30, Oct 21, Oct 28, Nov 11, Nov 18, Nov 25, Dec 2 — Costs: €260/sailor
2. Clinic EOS (9-10 Dec) — Costs: €110/sailor
3. Malahide Regatta (Oct 15) — Head coach in attendance for all classes – 100% subsidized by NYC
