At the National YC, We run Autumn coached training on Saturday afternoons. In order to facilitate to the best of our ability possible other activities/sports, training starts at 13.00 with the daily briefing (rigged and ready unless stated otherwise by the coach) and finishes after debrief is completed around 17.00
As the number of coaches and the groupings directly depends on participation, it is important to get sailors commitment. The focus is to develop skills at the appropriate level of competencies and coaches will use drills appropriate to the level of the sailors, the variability of abilities and boats types. The overall aim is enjoyment, progress and cooperation.
