Set against the vibrant backdrop of Dun Laoghaire Harbour, the Junior Summer Series 2026 is where young sailors come to race, learn, and have a seriously good time on the water.
This much-loved series brings together the next generation of sailors for a perfect mix of competition, camaraderie, and summer energy.
From Optimists to ILCA6s, Toppers to RS Fevas, the racing is open, inclusive, and designed to challenge sailors of all levels under 19. Whether you’re chasing podium finishes or building confidence on the start line, this series is about progression as much as performance.
Each Friday evening features two short, exciting races sailed on a triangle course inside the harbour—ideal for sharpening skills in a safe, dynamic environment. And it’s not just about results: coaching, encouragement, and fun are at the heart of every race.
Highlights include:
- “Girls at the Helm” Evening (June 12th) – celebrating female sailors with special prizes and spotlight races
- Post-race BBQ & Prizegiving (June 19th) – a relaxed finale to wrap up the series in style
- Medals & Fun Prizes across all classes and categories
