  • Adult Dinghy Training - After seeing the cream of the cream of ILCA sailors amazing skills around Dublin bay, it is almost time to get back to our own sailing and progressing skills in the NYC Autumn training. Lets make the best of the Autumn and restart our own program on September 19th. Sessions will run each saturday morning from 9.30 till 12.30 before enjoying the famous NYC brunch. You can sign up by the session on the club Smart club app. As per previous years, non members are welcomed to join the training and can sign up via the non member CLICK HERE   The sessions are geared up towards ILCAs and Aeros but other dinghies are welcome to contact Thomas at headcoach@nyc.ie to check suitability. some of the sessions will certainly manage other types of dinghies.   All levels are very welcomed, however early sign up will allow us to gauge the need for one or several coaches on the day. The majority but not all the sessions will be conducted inside the harbour and on short courses keep the group tight and giving a chance to the coach(es) to give effective feedback despite teh different classes in action. Sailors will be very welcomed to handover feedback themself so coaches can adjust their session and input to the need of the sailors.   And dont forget that the best way to test your progress is to take part in the amazing interclub sailing on offer with the DMYC frobites and the INSS Aero super series.   Looking forward to yet another great Autumn!
