Following great interest in continuing the club coaching offer for single handed sailors, the NYC will run another series. The sessions are open to all sailors sailing or racing a single handed dinghy (all rigs in ILCA dinghy and RS Aero). The aim is to grow and develop various skills whilst enjoying a good morning out. The coaches will cater for all level of competency by adjusting the theme of the session and facilitate learning, however a minimum standard of being able to manage a windward leeward course in up to 15-18 knots is a recommended minimum ability for this series.
The NYC can facilitate individual coaching delivered by a team of experienced single handed coaches to sailors wishing to up their skills before joining the group. Just get in touch with Thomas at headcoach@nyc.ie.
Sessions typically run from 9.30 till 12.30 but on a good day have been seen lasting a bit longer to everybody enjoyment… And nothing beats a good eggs benedict after sailing whilst discussing the lessons of the day

(Note that the club is hosting the Topper Southerns on June 22nd and 23rd, and there are both an ILCA and and Aero open event on the 6th and 7th of July hence no coaching is offered at these dates)
