Glendalough / Laragh Walk

Meeting at Glendalough @10.30am
Please note – we leave punctually at 11am.
Directions – Take the N11/M11 to Kilmacanogue and the R755 to Roundwood, Annamoe and Laragh. Then the R756 from Laragh to Glendalough.
Meet at the Visitor Centre in the first car park on the LHS on arrival in Glendalough. (this is a free car park but fills up rapidly, so please arrive early)
Please bring a packed lunch; Also walking boots/shoes and rain gear.
This is an easy/moderate walk with a little climbing and open to all National members and friends. We look forward to welcoming new people to our group. (Definitely – no dogs please)
The walk is from Glendalough to Laragh along the Green Road and from Laragh through Brockagh Forest. Lunch will be at the half way mark overlooking Laragh and the Glendalough Lakes. It is about 8 kms long and 3 hours duration, including the lunch break.
