Quiz Update

 Round 8 of the National Yacht Club’s popular table quiz took place on Wednesday evening (21 February), when 20 teams took to the tables to battle it out under the watchful eye of the Quizmaster.  The theme of the evening was ‘no change’: the Corner Boys were rowdy, T.B.M. were nearly-men, the Celtic Boys were also-rans, ….. and Wizard won!

An exceptional season for the reigning Brains of the Bay champions continued when Wizard scored 45 out of an available 50 points – a strike rate of 90%! Not surprisingly, Wizard strengthen their lead on the overall Leaderboard with three rounds to go, but retention of their title is not yet guaranteed, with the Corner Boys, T.B.M. and Enchantress (remember them?) all still in with mathematical possibilities of lifting the coveted trophy.

We reconvene on Wednesday, 6^th March at 8.00pm sharp! All welcome.
