Guest Speaker on the night - Liam Campbell DipWSET
Liam Campbell has nearly 30 years of experience leading wine tastings, backed by a WSET Diploma in Wine & Spirits and a Diploma in Craft Beer & Cider.
Certified as an Educator by WSET and the Cava Academy, he delivers engaging and insightful sessions to enhance appreciation of wine and drinks.
A distinguished wine writer for over 24 years, Liam is a member of the Circle of Wine Writers and currently serves as Wine & Drinks Editor for Hotel and Restaurant Times. He has previously contributed to TheTaste.ie, the Irish Independent, The Dubliner, and Easy Food Magazine.
Liam has been a tasting judge at international wine and spirits competitions for over a decade, including Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the International Taste Institute (Brussels), Michelangelo (South Africa), and Bacchus (Madrid).

Thursday Social Club
It was fantastic to see so many of our members at our very first Thursday Social morning! The bar was buzzing, the chatter was lively, and it was wonderful to watch old friends reconnect and new friendships begin. Thanks to you, our launch was a tremendous success!

World Record Setter Nuala Moore to Talk Cold-Water Swimming at the National Yacht Club
Join two-time Guinness World Record holder Nuala Moore at the National Yacht Club later this month for an evening of insights into the challenges of cold-water swimming.
The extreme cold-water and marathon swimmer, cold-water safety specialist and author will be at the NYC on Thursday 27 November from 7.30pm discuss such matters as preparing and planning for your own cold-water swim as well as understanding cold-water shock, injuries and recovery. Nualaâs talk will be followed by a Q&A.
Admission for what promises to be an interesting and entertaining evening is âŹ10 at the door, with non-members very welcome and bar food available.

Reciprocal Clubs Update
Members should note that the National Yacht Club has formalised a reciprocal rights agreement with the Yacht Club of Greece https://ycg.gr/en/home-en/. This new arrangement follows a recent meeting and burgee exchange with Stratis Andreadis of YCG Committee and deepens the strong ties between our clubs, allowing members to enjoy access to each clubâs facilities, participate in sporting and social events, and purchase distinctive club insignia
