Our Club won the accolade of Irish Sailing last Saturday in recognition of its efforts in promoting sustainability and clean seas throughout its activities and events.
- The National Yacht Club was Ireland’s first Club with a Sea Bin – thanks to Twelve-year-old environmental campaigner Flossie Donnelly (see here and here)
- In July, the Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta (and all its stakeholder Clubs) was awarded Gold Level Clean Regatta Certification
- In August, the inaugural Irish Sailing Pathfinder Women at the Helm Regatta hosted by the NYC was, as a first for any Club in Ireland, award Platinum level

We would like to thank all involved in achieving these milestones, and especially Grainne Ryan for spearheading the Sustainability efforts in the Club.
