Once again, we have had a busy and enjoyable year with numerous events held at the National Yacht Club.
These events have been extremely well supported by all of you and the staff have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and looking after you.
The size and popularity of these events are growing every year, and the staff have risen to the challenge in wonderful fashion and maintained the standards of which we are so proud.
The Staff Christmas Fund & Noahâs Ark Fund gives you an opportunity to show your thanks for the excellent work they do over the whole year.

Adult Winter 2022 Laser & RS Aero Coaching Sessions â Saturday Mornings – ADDITIONAL SESSIONS
The NYC is staging Laser & RS Aero coaching for adults of all ability (from new or returning to Laser sailing to experienced sailors) on Saturday mornings.
Time 10 a.m. to 12:45pm
Head Coach: James Delaney
You must have access to or own your own laser (please remember to apply and pay for Winter Platform Parking)
NYC Christmas Eve Swim – in aid of Crumlinâs Childrenâs Hospital
This Christmas Eve, Saturday 24th December, from 10.45am we will have our traditional Swim with brief social âlight refreshmentsâ afterwards.
John Corcoran and his team are fund raising for Crumlinâs Childrenâs Hospital. Crumlin does incredible work and appreciate not just the funds but our display of support for their vital work.
You can make donations to Crumlin's Children's Hospital using the form here the gallery of last year's swim...We will also have some collection capacity on the day.
Junior open Dinghies training with head coach
Each session is 15EUR/sailor/session - (special fee until Christmas to launch concept)
Sessions must be booked and paid on the Thursday lunchtime prior to the session taking place at the latest.

Ladies Charity Fashion Show & Dinner
Dear Members,
The Ladies Charity night is back with Fashion Show, dinner and raffle on Friday 2nd December at 7.30pm.
This year it is being held in memory of the late Ida Kiernan former Commodore of the NYC.
Thank you to all our Lady members and their guests for supporting this charity evening over the last 20 years.

NYC Frostbite Flying Fifteen Frostbite Series Concludes
This series which has been in existence since 1979 concluded at the weekend in what can only be described as ânon frostbite conditionsâ with sunshine and unseasonably high temperatures.
It was winner take all in the last race after four weeks sailing and Shane MacCarthy & Chris Doorly came out top closely followed by John Lavery & Alan Green with our Dunmore East visitors Lee Statham & Andrew Paul third.
Jill Fleming won the Silver Fleet and Joe Coughlan & Andrew Marshal won the Bronze fleet
