TY Disability Awareness Course – Wednesday 6th March from 2pm to 5pm
We are running a Disability awareness course course on Wednesday 6th March from 2pm to 5pm in the JB room at NYC
The purpose of this short course is to teach the specific skills required to assist children (and adults) with physical and/or sensory disabilities to learn to sail. There will be a theory section first which will take place in the JB room and this will be followed by a short practical session on the Pontoon at NYC providing some practical tips on assisting Sailability sailors in and out of the boats .

The NYC is hosting a Yachtmaster Offshore Theory Course over 6 evenings, 2 full days & 1 day exam

· Saturdays (10am-5pm)
Tuesday 5th, Friday 8th, Saturday 9th, Tuesday 12th, Thursday 14th, Saturday 16th, Tuesday 19th, Thursday 21st and Saturday 23rd March (Exam would take place on Saturday 23rd March)

The NYC is hosting two Diesel Engine Courses on Saturday 17th February or 6th April 2024 from 9.30am to 5pm.

RS Aero & ILCA AdultTraining spring 2024 series
Adult Single handed training will return on February 3rd and run over 8 weekends until lift in on the following saturday mornings.
Feb 3, Feb 10, Feb 17, Mar 2, Mar 9, Mar 16, Mar 30, Apr 6.
The sessions starts at 9.30 and debrief is expected to be completed by 13.00.
Your coaching team will be led by head coach Thomas Chaix and be composed by former and active ILCA sailors. The series is open to all RS Aero and ILCA sailors wishing to progress their skills with the view to take part in club racing, Frosbites and Open events.
The NYC is hosting two open events in 2024: The ILCA Nationals (August) and the Rs Aero Easterns (October)

NYC Optimist Spring Training and Event Coaching Programmes
The NYC is staging an exciting and intensive programme of training and event coaching for Optimists starting on Sunday 28th January and ending on 7th April in RCYC comprising:
- NYC Performance return to training clinic 27-28 January
- UK springs, 16-17 March
- Easter clinic (3.5 days)
- Youth nationals (4th to 7th April - RCYC) - Event support incl one prep day onsite.
