Women at the Helm 2024 – May 25 & 26

Women at the Helm 2024 – May 25 & 26

SIA Partners and the National Yacht Club are delighted to host the Women At The Helm 2024 regatta on May 25th & 26th.  The event will include racing as well as other activities both on and off the water and we would encourage friends, family, sailors and non-sailors to come down to the club over this busy weekend.

The inaugural WATH regatta was held in 2019 and was hosted by the NYC.  WATH is a sailing regatta with women helming dinghies and keelboats and encourages women who may not normally helm to step up and make the move from crew to helm over this weekend.  The event is open to all female helms from teens to seniors. Prizes will be awarded for Under-25s, over 60s, and by class, and includes the coveted prize of the Roy Family Perpetual Trophy for the best team performance.  2024 will be the third occasion that the NYC will host the WATH regatta, reinforcing the Club’s reputation as a supporter and promoter of women in sailing
