The Christmas Quiz and Dinner was held on Wednesday 7th with a great turnout and wonderful atmosphere ... until Quizmaster started asking questions. Newsletter reports much bemused feedback from dazed and shattered quizzers. What was the pope was not doing behind closed doors? Scandalous!
Last call for our final outing of the year at Killiney Golf Club this coming Friday 2nd December. As usual it will be followed by our end of season dinner in the club ,drinks reception at 7pm followed by dinner........... all welcome.
We have a membership of 40 and organise eight golf outings every year including two ‘away events’ , this year at Kelly’s Rosslare and Knightsbrook Hotel and Country Club.
We are just finalising the programme for 2023 which will be on the website shortly.
So come along on Friday if you can, and watch out for next years activities.

Bridge commenced again on 29th September 2022, sadly without our Bridge Convener Ida Kiernan who passed away suddenly on 4th September.
Ida ran the NYC Bridge Club for many years, running many competitions including the G.I.N Cup a competition between the three Waterfront Clubs.
The members who returned in September have all helped in the smooth running of the Bridge Club and we greatly appreciate their help and input. It would be great to see new members playing in the New Year. Bridge finishes for Christmas on 8th December and reconvening on 12th January 2023.
This Christmas Eve, Saturday 24th December, from 10.45am we will have our traditional Swim with brief social “light refreshments” afterwards.
John Corcoran and his team are fund raising for Crumlin’s Children’s Hospital. Crumlin does incredible work and appreciate not just the funds but our display of support for their vital work.
