Course 1 of our summer programme kicked off on Tuesday with lots of enthusiastic junior sailors taking to the water in their Optimists, Toppers, and Fevas.
Itâs been a fantastic start, with participants learning new skills and honing old ones under the summer sun.
Meanwhile, our Big Boat Sailing Course has seen the J80s out in full force, cruising around the bay daily.
Today, the group is heading down to Killiney Bay for an exciting day sail â complete with a refreshing swim near Vico!
With plenty more fun and adventure planned each week, itâs shaping up to be an unforgettable summer.

Led by world tour skipper Megan Thomson, and joined by her 2.0 Racing crew member Josi, this training day is designed for experienced match racers and fleet racers who are keen to get started in match racing.

NYC is host venue for a specialist First Aid at Sea course for dinghy sailors and keel boat sailors on Sunday 1 June.
The course meets the first aid training requirements of Irish Sailing and the RYA for sailing instructors, and for the Irish Sailing and RYA Yachtmaster Offshore first aid requirement.
The course runs from 09:30 - 17:30 hrs, cost is âŹ130 per person. This includes your certificate and the RORC First Aid at Sea manual.
The course is taught by Joanna Peare, registered nurse, and experienced offshore sailor and is tailored to the sailing environment.
