The National Yacht Club is entering its two 1720s in the DBSC Spring Chicken series to give a taste of sailing and racing in Dublin Bay on a keelboat to all ladies interested.
This is a fun race and the emphasis is on participation and training and having a good time!
You do not need to be an experienced sailor as participants will be a mix of various sailing ability. Places are limited to 14 ladies on a first come first served basis so book fast.
The boat will be entered every Sundays (from 3rd February to 10th March 2019) so make sure to register every time!
Both boats will have a coach on board and the programme includes a day’s training on Sunday 27th January before the racing starts the following week.
