The National Yacht Club is currently seeking to recruit a shore person for summer 2022.
The role is relevant to any individual 17 or over with the required certification as follows: First Aid Certificate, Safeguarding Certificate and Garda Clearance.
Job description:
The shore person will welcome the children and direct them into their respective groups in the morning, help launch and recover the sailors, Supervise the children at lunch time and be on land at all times to receive a child that needs to come to land unexpectedly.
The dates for summer courses 2022 are as follows. The summer sailing courses will be full days.
- Course 1: 7-17 June 2022
- Course 2: 20 June â 1 July 2022
- Course 3: 4 July â 15 July 2022
- Course 4: 18 â 29 July 2022
- Course 5: 2 â 12 August 2022
