NYC Walking Group Shankill / Scalp

Meet at Brady’s pub, Shankill @10.45am
Please note – we leave punctually at 11am.
This walk is the first section of the Dublin Mountain Way and is about 3 hourâs duration, including the lunch break.
Bradyâs Pub is on the RHS entering the town â see photo above. Whilst there is limited parking in the Main Street, there is a free public car park accessed by turning right (coming from Dublin) at the Credit Union and then first left, signposted Health Centre â to the end of the Cul-de-sac.
A lane from the car park leads out to the side of the Pub or for those who want coffee beforehand, into the back entrance of the Street Food outlet, which is excellent.
Please bring a packed lunch for a break at the half-way mark (overlooking The Scalp); also walking boots and rain gear.
This is open to all National Members and friends and we look forward to welcoming new people to our group. (Please no dogs).
