The National Training Week will now replace the traditional training week in Baltimore which used to be held in February. This training week will happen at Halloween mid-term at different clubs around the country every year. Malahide Yacht Club hosted this first edition, which was well received by sailors and their families.
17 Optimist sailors participated from The National Yacht Club and trained in challenging conditions for 3 days before the Halloween regatta on Saturday.
The NYC Sailors performed very well, and in the Senior main fleet, William Walsh was 1st again! Hannah.
In junior main fleet junior, FĂ©lix Dion placed 3rd in the silver fleet
In the regatta fleet Aurele Dion finished in 3rd place and Louis Trickett won best under 9.
