Welcome back to the NYC summer platform! Following demand in a growing group of sailors and to launch the summer racing season, the first coaching series is proposed. The coaching is open to all ILCA rigs and all Aero rigs. It is aiming at sailors wishing to progress their skills in a race environment (speed, rules, starts, mark rounding, tactical decisions…). The sessions are usually but not exclusively sailed inside the harbour on short and intense drills allowing a large variability of experience to enjoy the training. It will be delivered by experienced coaches starting this Sunday with Ellie Cunnane (former Academy laser sailors). The programme is open to all Waterfront club sailors and sessions will start at 9.30 and are expected to be finished by 12.30 with a short debrief before enjoying the traditional club lunch (and enjoying the lunch whilst discussing the outcomes of the morning afloat).
