Meet Brady’s Pub, Shankill @10.45am.
Please note – we leave punctually at 11am.
This walk is the first section of the Dublin Mountain Way and is about 3 hour’s duration, including the lunch break.
Brady’s Pub is on the RHS entering the town – see photo above. Whilst there is limited parking in the Main Street, there is a free public carpark accessed by turning right (coming from Dublin) at the Credit Union and then first left, signposted Health Centre – to the end of the Cul-de-sac.
A lane from the carpark leads out to the side of the Pub. For those who want coffee beforehand – The Street Food outlet nearby is excellent.
Please bring a packed lunch for a break at the half-way mark (overlooking The Scalp); also walking boots and rain gear.
This is open to all National Members and friends and we look forward to welcoming new people to our group. (Please no dogs).
