Friday 1st December saw the end of the events on our 2023 golfing calendar with the coming together for our annual Christmas dinner in the club.
Unfortunately, due to unfavourable weather we had to cancel our outing in Killiney Golf Club but 22 of us met for dinner in the club that evening.

We had a wonderful time with the group of us sitting around one table telling stories, jokes and singing songs until late into the night.
Peter Brennan was the worthy winner of The Golfer of the Year trophy with 154 points over 5 outings.
Well done Peter, you managed to stay ahead of the chasing pack made up of Tony Corcoran, Seamus O'Morain, John Westman and Peter Ryan.

Last call for our final outing of the year at Killiney Golf Club this coming Friday 2nd December. As usual it will be followed by our end of season dinner in the club ,drinks reception at 7pm followed by dinner........... all welcome.

We have a membership of 40 and organise eight golf outings every year including two ‘away events’ , this year at Kelly’s Rosslare and Knightsbrook Hotel and Country Club.

We are just finalising the programme for 2023 which will be on the website shortly.

So come along on Friday if you can, and watch out for next years activities.

Happy New Year to all NYC Golfers.

2 important messages for you...

 

First, we have 2 overnight outings booked as follows...

3rd - 4th March, the wonderful links at Rosslare Golf Club, and staying at Kelly's Hotel, Bed & Breakfast, plus Dinner @ 135.00 + 10% s.c. (50.00 single supp.)

21st-22nd June @ Knightsbrook Spa and Golf Resort, 2 rounds of golf, Bed & Breakfast plus dinner for 220.00 (+50.00 single supp.)

If you wish to play in these outings, please pay 25.00 per person for each of the outings you intend to play (NOTE: this is non-refundable), by Fri 21st Jan. When paying, tell Oonagh in the office which outings you are booking,


Second - your outline schedule for 2022.

We ask you to get these dates into your diary asap., and we hope you can play in most of them. Note that the green fees below might be increased slightly to cover prizes etc..

Most important is to book your places in the 2 overnight events, Rosslare & Knightsbrook,, and to pay the deposit by Friday next (21st Jan)

On Friday 23rd Feb, Our Club takes on the cream of Seapoint's golfers at Delgany Golf Club.
We need players, men and women, to put their names forward for this epic confrontation.
Your Committee has been hard at work organising your golf agenda for 2018, and has been in touch with Joe Schmidt for advice about how to win the June match v Howth.
